  • Tabber-ClintGirl-01  World Music Nashville has been one of the leading destinations for music education in Music City since 2001.  We have over twenty music professionals on staff with fifteen private lesson rooms and an ensemble room. We are the largest and most successful privately run music lesson facility in Nashville. With well over 500 students enrolled, our Music Education Program continues to grow in new and interesting directions. We take pride in providing students and parents with and exceptional experience, exceptional teachers, and real results. As you look through our website, you will also see we always provide some pure fun. Exactly what playing music should be.
  • Tabber-TedRed-01We provide much more than lessons. Studying an instrument or voice at World Music Nashville is a music community experience. Students of all ages and levels of ability have the option to join bands that are coached by our pro instructors. Some students perform in several groups. New friendships are made and a grand time is had by all that participate. Unlike traditional private lessons, we provide students with the true thrill of performing music alongside others. At World Music Nashville, lessons are only the beginning of your musical education!
  • Tabber-SaxX2-01  Student Concerts: There are so many students enrolled in lessons that it takes 2 full evenings to put on a show big enough for everyone to perform. On Friday night SOLO PERFORMERS take the stage to a packed audience of eager spectators. The Saturday night show features full BANDS putting on an impressive diversity of musical styles at levels of difficulty that always impress. The latest concerts this January where a huge success. A big thanks to all the parents and loved ones for their support all year round. Thanks to all the WMN music teachers for all their great efforts and astonishing results. Plus, a big thanks to Lisa Singletary, our Music School Administrator, for organizing and hosting these events. Great job everyone! Practice hard for that next show!!!

Nashville Music Lessons

World Music Nashville's Music Education Center has become Music City's most popular place to study the music so many yearn to play. Our Teachers coach complete beginners and highly advanced players alike. Students range in age from 5 years old straight through to those who have been very wise and wordly for many decades.

World Music Nashville provides much more than your typical neighborhood private music lesson. Our school mentors our students, coaches them in performing groups and bands, organizes and hosts regular student performance concerts, and travels with groups of our students to perform around Nashville and beyond. Students here are part of a family. We encourage and facilitate interaction between students, instructors, and staff in a way that has brought many to feel that our school community is a significant part of their lives. It is not uncommon to hear students say they love this place, or they love their teacher.

If you want to learn to play, if you want to improve much quicker, if you want to get past a slump in your playing, if you want to play music alongside other like minded individuals, . . . pick a teacher, and start having fun!

Instruction is offered for the following: Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums, Percussion, Voice, Woodwinds, Brass, Violin, Banjo, Mandolin, Harmonica, and Ukulele. All styles of music are taught. A list of our instructors, along with their full bios, is available under the Faculty link.
